ASTRALcom WINS INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR IT'S "INSIDER'S PERSPECTIVE" WEB SITE OF THE TOYOTA GRAND PRIX OF LONG BEACH

Long Beach, CA -October 18, 2001 - ASTRALcom, LLC (d.b.a. ASTRALcom Internet Solutions) today received announcement that it had been selected as the recipient of the International Golden Web Award for it's "insider's perspective" web site of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

The Golden Web Award is presented to those web sites whose design and content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition and the Inside the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach web site is just such a web site. After review of the Inside the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach web site, the site was determined to be in the TOP 2% of all the web sites reviewed by the International Association of Web Masters & Designers.

Inside the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach - [http://www.astralcom.com/gpi is a collaborative effort on the part of Grand Prix Association of Long Beach, ASTRALcom Internet Solutions, Paul Turang Photography Studios, The Long Beach Business Journal and many other individuals and entities in Long Beach.

"We came to the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach with the idea of creating an "insider's perspective" of the race," stated Richard Bergér, Director of Relations at ASTRALcom. "There is no place on the web that offers race enthusiasts and aficionados the breadth and depth of what we've created with the Inside the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, web site" added Bergér.

The web site, located at http://www.astralcom.com/gpi, is filled to the brim with behind-the-scenes photos, sounds and interviews about everyone from the drivers, track workers, event supporters and even an interview with Alex Zanardi's bike! The site contains a comprehensive, searchable archive of event and celebrity photos and a game-style interface that helps illustrate the race and it's impact on the City.

"This was a special project for me," stated Paul Turang of Paul Turang Photography Studios, "I didn't want to focus on the race itself. I wanted fans to experience what it's like to go behind the scenes - to show the people and events that make up a Grand Prix weekend," added Turang.

"Everyone at the race event was so interested in what we were doing. They offered help and opened up so that we could get the 'good stuff' that inside perspectives are made of," stated Bergér. "Drivers, celebrities, event staff and vendors all welcomed us with open arms and smiles knowing that what we were doing with Inside the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach would help bring them into the limelight," ended Bergér.

Admittedly, Inside the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach does offer race fans the ability to get "behind-the-scenes" and access information and things they wouldn't normally have access to. This can certainly translate to dollars for the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach, Dover Downs and even CART as an industry.
