It's a modern day David vs. Golioth.

Jason Schultz was sold a new vehicle which turned out to be problematic and consequently deemed a "lemon". He tried to work with Mercedes Benz to take back this car, as it was costing him much time and money. After more than 10 months of trying to work with Mercedes Benz, he realized that they were going to do nothing for him. Thinking that the California Lemon Law would be the answer, he tried to file a case. However, to his surprise he found that Mercedes Benz does not offer an arbitration program for Lemon Law, and he would have to wait approximately one full year before the case was heard in court.

"It's not the fact that I got a problematic vehicle, it is the fact that Mercedes Benz wants to do nothing to help me out of the situation. Beyond that, legally I have to deal with this problematic vehicle for one full year before I can have my case heard in a court of law. This is unfair and I am going to change this", said Jason.

Changing this is exactly what he is doing. He is showing Mercedes Benz that not all consumers will fall victim to circumstance by protesting. Jason states, "Through my protests, Mercedes Benz employees have told me there is no hope in my situation, and even stated that my life is in danger if I continue".

This new protest has been bringing quite a bit of media and consumer attention to Mercedes Benz. This support is accounting for hundreds of letters, e-mail's, and faxes towards this cause. "It's amazing how many people are in the same situation as me, and feel there is nothing they can do. I am going to go against what Mercedes Benz is telling people and make things fair for consumers", said Jason.
